First Real Casualty - Update

Doctor vs St John First Aider. Who do you trust more? My first real
casualty - who the doctor said was "just winded" had his shoulder
joint rebuilt early last week. I was sure it was more than that and
have been proved right. Well alls well that ends well.....

Duty Report

Date 23rd June 2004
Time 1845 -> 2330
Location Lighthouse, Poole
Description Oasis Concert
Casualties 7

Seven casualties in just under 5 hours. Not bad. Not bad at all. Especially
as 5 out of the 7 basically got moved on to the First Aid room as they were
faints/heat exhaustion and needed some space to recover. One shortness of
breath and two with minor cuts to the hands. All treated and sent back in.

First Real Casualty - Update

Got a message from a friend of my first real casualty at the speedway a few weeks ago. Turns out that he had his shoulder joint rebuilt recently but is doing fine. Makes me feel kind of good that I could help someone else out....

Oasis Concert

Concert went well. Nothing serious happened, just the normal stuff- heat exhaustion, fainting etc. Oasis were good though. Wish I had my camera phone on me.
