In the month of October we only had to refuse one duty. I'm not proud of that fact as I believe we should do our best to cover everything that is thrown our way but it doesn't always work out. As you can see from previous posts getting volunteers can be like getting blood from a stone. Its the last Speedway on Sunday and we are struggling for Ambulance Crew (surprise surprise). Hopefully things will be easier when myself and the others that are going through our training at the moment get qualified. That should be the end of November.

Quick Update

Not done many duties recently. Will be going to the KO Cup Semi Final
at Speedway tonight. Then there is the second leg of the Play Off
Final for the Elite League on Monday. I'm getting heartily sick of
this Duty Coordinator role as it is just the usual suspects who
volunteer for things- I'm sure there are people there who see the
division solely as a social club.
