What a Weekend!!

Four weekend night shifts, 48 hours of madness. It would seem that everyone in Poole decided to become properly ill. It can be weeks between taking a patient into resus but this weekend I took 5 patients in. A fitting child, an older woman with pneumonia, a COPD patient, a brittle asthmatic and a guy with a 5 inch blade buried in his liver. all good stuff for the portfolio!
