Leadership

So now I'm in charge. M - the superintendent, has decided to take a
year long sabbatical to get over his recent illness. He asked if I'd
look after the division for him for the year. Thinking it would be
rude to say no I agreed, so I am now "Member in Charge". This means
all the responsibilities with none of the rewards as far as I can see.
Suppose I'll just have to get on with it.

Today I'm running a recruitment / PR event at work for St John and
then it is speedway tonight. More updates later in the week.

Point to Point

Strange weekend this. Today its helping that opressed minority the
hunter with hounds at the Portman Hunt Point to Point. Tomorrow is the
Make Poverty History Rally - from Telegraph reading Tories to pinko
liberal Guardian readers in 24 hours.

No customers today, some fallers at other fences but thankfully no
business for me.
